LEV TExT (Thorough Examination and Testing)

Most LEV systems require a thorough examination and test once each year to ensure the system is working well and continues to protect your employees.  Some LEV systems, such as those controlling more critical or high-hazard processes may need more frequent examination and testing.  Certification must be retained for a minimum period of 5 years to gain compliance of the current regulations.

Employers: It is your responsibility to arrange checks, maintenance and thorough examination and testing (TExT) in order to comply with Regulation 9 of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
